The One Goal Project: Reaching Exceptional Performance at Work

The Power of LessWe’re going to work on “one goal” to help us achieve exceptional performance at work. Inspired by Leo Babauta’s The Power of Less, and detailed on his blog Zen Habits, the “one goal system” is simple – you focus on one goal at a time to increase your effectiveness with that goal.

Here is the “Exceptional Performance One Goal” list that we will work on.  Content on Dot Connector will focus around the goal, and we’ll be discussing each goal in the Dot Connector LinkedIn Group (be sure to join us!).

  • Client Service
  • Execution and Follow-Through
  • Decision Making
  • Work Ethic/Dependability
  • Initiative
  • Working With Others
  • Sense of Urgency

This should be a lot of fun, and we’ll all get better in the process!  I encourage you to subscribe to Dot Connector via email (on the upper-right of this blog) so you get all of the updates each month.  Also, be sure to join the Dot Connector Group on LinkedIn.  And, if you want to see my thoughts on this as we go through it, please feel free to follow me on Twitter.
